Refunds and cancellation
This policy explains recurring hosting cancellation, export refunds and UK statutory cancellation rights.
Managed hosting subscriptions
You may cancel through the utemply account controls or PayPal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and hosting remains available through the paid billing period unless the service states otherwise. Payments already made are normally non-refundable for a billing period already supplied, but this does not affect statutory rights or refunds for a faulty or materially misdescribed service.
Website exports and digital content
If an export has not been delivered or downloaded, contact us promptly. Where a consumer expressly asks for digital supply during the 14-day cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may be lost only after the required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. If that acknowledgement was not obtained, or the export is faulty or not as described, statutory remedies may still apply. utemply will not restrict rights provided by applicable consumer law.
How to cancel
Email hello@utemply.com from the account email with your name, site name, purchase type, transaction reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use this wording:
To utemply: I give notice that I cancel my contract for [managed hosting / website export], ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Account email: [email]. Site: [site]. Date: [date].
We will acknowledge the request and, when a refund is due, return it through the original payment method without undue delay and ordinarily within 14 days of agreeing entitlement.
Problems and disputes
Tell us what went wrong and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate or correct the service. Chargebacks and PayPal disputes are handled using the transaction and service records available to us. This policy does not prevent you from using PayPal’s processes or exercising legal rights.
